Brookings published on 27 May 2016 a roundtable summary titled "External Risks to Africa's Growth: Falling Commodity Prices, China's Economic Slowdown, and Rising External Debt" by Amy Copley. As the title indicates, the discussion focused on these three challenges to Africa's growth and concluded that the "Africa rising" narrative is not uniform.
