China's Coronavirus Reduces Oil Imports from Africa

S&P Global Platts published on 3 February 2020 an article titled "Angolan Crude Values Under Pressure from Coronavirus Concerns: Trade" by Nicholas Baldwin.

In 2019, Angola exported 67 percent of its crude to China and the Republic of Congo exported 73 percent to China. Oil traders say China's demand for crude from both countries is falling sharply as the country contends with the coronavirus outbreak.
