The South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) published in March 2021 a policy briefing titled "New Dimensions of Growth and Development in Africa-China Cooperation."
The briefing assesses the economic dimensions of China-Africa relations by examining trade, infrastructure financing and development, as well as digital engagements. It also looks at how sustainable development can be increased within the different facets of this ongoing relationship. The briefing draws on a series of dialogues hosted by SAIIA and the Chinese embassy in South Africa.
