Aljazeera published on 27 August 2021 an article titled "UN Chief Says 'Humanitarian Catastrophe ' Unfolding in Ethiopia."
UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres warned the UN Security Council that the conflict in Ethiopia has spread beyond Tigray Region and a "humanitarian catastrophe is unfolding before our eyes." More than 2 million have been displaced and at least 400,000 are living in famine like conditions. The world's worst hunger crisis in a decade continues to worsen.
