London-based Civitas: Institute for the Study of Civil Society published in November 2021 an overview titled "China's Military Education and Commonwealth Countries" by Radomir Tylecote and Henri Rossano.
Chinese military schools and universities are receiving growing numbers of foreign students every year for military training. Some of the African countries taking part in the program are Zimbabwe, Cameroon, Rwanda, Namibia, South Africa, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, and South Sudan.
