This article covers the same event reported on 1 March below by The Washington Post of a massacre in Tigray Region by Eritrean forces on the eve of a peace agreement last fall between Tigrayan forces and the central government of Ethiopia. It contains less detail but suggests the attacks constituted war crimes.
