The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continue to pressure Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) control of El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur. The initiative by the Quad (US, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE) to negotiate a cease fire between the RSF and the SAF remains a work in progress with little apparent success.
