Future of China-Africa Engagement
The online service This Is Africa published on 20 November 2013 a brief analysis titled "China-Africa Engagement: Has It Peaked?" by Kai Xue, an attorney specializing in cross-border transactions at a Chinese law firm based in Beijing. He concluded that because of depressed commodity prices and the fact that Africa holds a modest share of the world's oil reserves that China-Africa relations will "overall drift in this decade."
