Newschina published in its February 2016 edition an article titled "China-Africa Forum: High Ideals, High Stakes" by Yu Xiaodong.
As oil and commodity prices have plunged and China's economic growth has slowed, China is facing a new and challenging relationship with Africa. In addition, there are growing questions being raised in China why it is focusing so many resources in Africa at a time when its own growth has faltered.
