The China Africa Research Initiative at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies published in August 2019 a working paper titled "Chinese Agricultural and Manufacturing Investment in Kenya: A Scoping Study" by Ying Xia, Harvard Law School.
The paper examines Chinese investments in Kenya's agricultural and manufacturing industries. More and more Chinese firms are exploring business opportunities in these two sectors, although growth has been unsteady.
