Konrad Adenauer Stiftung recently published a document titled "It Is about Their Story: How China, Turkey and Russia Influence the Media in Africa." It contains a section titled "Sino-African Cooperation--An Overview of a Longstanding Asymmetric Relationship" by Dani Madrid-Morales.
The author concludes that long-standing imbalances in the China-Africa relationship and, in this case, the media sector manifest in the form of three asymmetries: volume of media exchanges, audiences, and human and material capital.
