Foreign Policy published on 29 October 2021 a commentary titled "Sudan's Coup Is a Gamble That Nobody Will Care" by Rebecca Hamilton, American University of Law.
The author argues that the Sudanese military seized power expecting not to face serious resistance at home or abroad.
Comment: That was a gross miscalculation by the Sudanese generals. Most of the international community including the African Union is outraged as are the Sudanese people as demonstrated by the massive street protests in Sudan on 30 October.
