The National published on 20 October 2021 an article titled "US Support for Sudan 'in Question' If Transition Blocked, Special Envoy Warns" by Joyce Karam.
US Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa, Jeffrey Feltman, warned this week that US support for Sudan, including debt relief, is at risk if the country's fragile transition to civilian rule is interrupted. Feltman visited Khartoum this weekend for a second time in October.
