The New Atlanticist published on 29 October 2021 a commentary titled "Sudan's Coup Wasn't a Failure of US Diplomacy. It Was the Dawn of a New Era in Africa" by Cameron Hudson, Atlantic Council.
The author concludes that US policy must recognize that Sudan's military is bent on its own survival above all else. It is time to get tough with Sudan.
