Russia has been the biggest supplier of arms to Africa for the past 15 years. Most of the arms go to Algeria, Egypt, Sudan, and Angola. The only one of these countries to support the UN General Assembly resolution condemning Russia's invasion of Ukraine was Egypt. Although a minor trade partner with Africa, Russia is a major supplier of wheat to key countries and has a huge impact on energy prices.
