Agence France Presse published on 4 December 2022 an article titled "Ethiopia's Tigray Forces Withdraw 65% of Fighters from Frontline, Says Commander."
The commander of the Tigrayan forces said 65 percent of his troops have disengaged from the frontlines in the conflict with the central government. Tigrayan forces remain in areas where Eritrean forces and hostile regional militia are still opposing Tigrayan forces.
