The Ethiopian National Defense Force has launched a major offensive against Tigrayan forces in Amhara Region. The commander of Tigrayan forces, Tsadkan Gebretensae, confirmed the offensive, adding "I don't think this will be a protracted fight -- a matter of days, most probably weeks."
