Al-Qaeda in East Africa and the Horn

A year ago I made a presentation on the history of al-Qaeda in East Africa and the Horn of Africa at a conference sponsored by the Marine Corps University. This presentation now appears as a chapter of a book just released by the Marine Corps University Press titled Al-Qaida after Ten Years of War: A Global Perspective of Successes, Failures, and Prospects edited by Norman Cigar and Stephanie E.
