Africa in the Chinese Media: What is China Learning about Africa

The Journalism School at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg sponsors a China-Africa Reporting Project.  One of the goals is to report on coverage of Africa in Chinese newspapers.

It recently published two items in this series by Barry van Wyk.  The first features visits by Chinese journalists to three South African cites and is titled "Visits to Three South African Cities, Seven Months a Slave in Johannesburg."  The second is reporting on Chinese workers in Africa titled "Chinese Workers and Doctors in Africa."
