International Banker published on 20 September 2019 an article titled "China's Belt and Road Initiative and Its Impcact on the Middle East and North Africa" by Rebecca Harding, CEO, Coriolis Technologies.
China has increased its investment in the North Africa and Middle East region exponentially since 2005, with a particular emphasis on Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emiraes, Egypt, and Algeria. Investment in Tunisia, Morocco, and Libya has been modest.
