Ethiopian Civil War Not Likely to Be Dealt with in UN Security Council

The Conversation posted on 1 November 2021 a commentary titled "The Three Key Mistakes UN Must Avoid for Peace in Ethiopia" by Mulugeta G. Berhe, Tufts University and affiliated with the Tigray Defense Forces.

The author, who acknowledges his ties to the Tigray Defense Forces, suggests the UN Security Council will not take any meaningful action on the civil war in Ethiopia because permanent members Russia and China see the issue as an internal problem in which the UN should not engage.
