Russia's invasion of Ukraine has sharply divided Africa. These divisions show that the Ukraine war is resurrecting some Cold War issues between African states and within them. Of greater concern is that only 27 African states stood up to condemn a major nuclear power for invading its much smaller neighbor on implausible grounds such as denazification.
