The Journal of the Spanish Institute of Strategic Studies published on 29 June 2022 an analysis titled "China and Africa, a Geopolitical Pairing that Works" by Oscar Garrido Guijarro.
The analysis looks at ten countries in Sub-Sahara Africa. It concludes that China is interested in the exploitation of Africa's natural resources but is also leading in construction of the continent's infrastructure.
