Belt and Road Assessment of Investment in Africa
Deloitte and the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce jointly issued in August 2019 the second Belt and Road Countries Investment Index Report. The report evaluated investment attractiveness along the Belt and Road. It looked at 14 countries in Africa. It gave Tier 2 status to South Africa, Kenya, and Morocco. It assigned Tier 3 status to Ghana, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Egypt, Madagascar, Algeria, Tunisia, Sudan, Republic of Congo, and Angola.
