Russia and France currently dominate the nuclear energy sector in Africa with the United States playing a lesser role. China is positioning itself to exert significant influence over the sector in the coming decades through a blend of diplomatic engagement, strategic partnerships, and technical proficiency. The author concludes that China is well positioned to achieve its goal.
